The Art of Racing in the Pelting is a 2019 American one-act-drama film directed by Simon Curtis and written by Marker Bomback, based on the 2008 novel of the same name by writer Garth Stein. The film stars Milo Ventimiglia, Amanda Seyfried and Kevin Costner as the voice of Enzo.

It was theatrically released on August 9, 2019 by 20th Century Flim-flam. The picture received mixed reviews from critics and grossed over $33 million worldwide.

Plot [edit]

In Seattle, Enzo (named afterward Enzo Ferrari) is dying. The old Golden Retriever is waiting for Denny, his primary and best friend, to return home. When Denny finds Enzo unable to motion, the dog begins to narrate his life for the viewer.
